Ann Clemedtson

Ann has been training horses in classical dressage and jumping in Sweden for over 40 years. She and her daughters currently breed SWB for jumping in Sweden at their stable HEST: Hoka Equine Sales and Therapy. Her family bred the #1 Dressage Fjord in Sweden many years ago. She is a former dressage judge for Training Level to Prix St. Georges in Sweden and has worked and studied under the winner of the Swedish jumping championships. Her daughters, in their 20s, are full time competitors in Europe on their home-bred Swedish Warmbloods. In Sweden, Ann even coached and trained a teenage girl with her grade pony to win the Swedish Championships in Western Riding, beating out all the "cowboys" with their expensive imported Quarter Horses!

Ann's passion is working with the horse/rider relationship in training classical riding especially for those in serious, goal-oriented training. She works with all ages and levels! Ann has a very calm, thoughtful approach to problem solving and is a clear communicator in explaining why certain steps should come before others! Lessons with Ann are on a very limited basis as she lives half time in the USA and half time in Sweden!
