Jen writes: "I started riding when I was 5 years old and have not stopped since. My dressage career started when I was 13. When I was 16, I started my jumping career and my work with ex-race horses.

I am currently a full time college student at North Dakota State University and I am working to get my Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a minor in Equine Science. I started as working student at Brady Equestrian Center and was promoted to Trainer. I help with the retraining of their ex-racehorses, and I continued my education through lessons, clinics, and competitions.

I had a wonderful opportunity to travel to Sweden to learn under Ann Clemedtson and her family for 10 weeks in the summer of 2014 at her show jumping stable near Karlshamn. I rode under Annette Clemedtson, Catherine Clemedtson, Jan-Olof Odervall, and Annika Persson, working with a huge variety of top quality horses from complete youngsters to experienced high level jumpers. We traveled to shows all around Sweden and I met so many wonderful people that taught me to be a better rider and person as a whole.

I attended a show jumping clinic with the 4 star eventing rider Dominic Schramm (host and creator of the popular eventing training series EventionTV on YouTube) in the spring of 2015 with a young OTTB (Off-The-Track-Thoroughbred).

This past summer I rode with Chris Underhill of Alpine Farms for a short while to keep improving on my show jumping skills. Some of Chris's students have gone to Pony Finals and Harrisburg. He has trained horses and riders up to the top in Hunters and Jumpers."
