Lisbeth Bengtsson

Lisbeth is from Sweden and has bred and trained Swedish Warmbloods for most of her life. She specializes in dressage and driving. Lisbeth has started over 25 horses and trained and competed up to 3rd level dressage. She is has also competed in jumping, eventing, quadrille, combined driving, and dressage driving both in Sweden and the USA. She and her horse Helle, a SWB mare (Mia's dam), were CSDEA Champions in 1994. She is a USDF Associate Instructor and also joined Margot Brady in 2011 as a USDF Participating Instructor.

Lisbeth gives lessons to all ages and levels. She is very good with the adult beginner or someone with low-confidence. She has ridden regularly in clinics with Ulf Wadeborn (FEI trainer from Stromsholm Riding Academy in Sweden, now in California) and has studied the art of long-lining under Bo Jenå, Head Dressage Trainer at Flyinge, Sweden.

In 2013, Lisbeth and her husband moved back to Sweden. She is available for lessons at BEC on a very limited basis when she visits the USA.
