Meadowe rode Merrylegs, a former 4H State Champion in both English and Western, on trails in Montana, Wyoming, and South Dakota when she was only 8 years old. She also rode Merrylegs in clinics with Swedish trainer Ulf Wadeborn and with Lisbeth. After the passing of Merrylegs, Meadowe was fortunate enough to find two white Welsh ponies at her disposal to train for the lesson program (Sir Owen and Starlight).

Meadowe's personal horse is Mia whom she has shown in dressage schooling shows, Musical Freestyle, Pas de Deux, and Quadrille. Meadowe's bond with Mia is very special. She can ride Mia at a full out gallop and then go directly to a walk where Meadowe does yoga on Mia's back going down the trail!
Meadowe has a natural talent for jumping and quickly claimed Rose as her own personal jumping horse when she arrived in spring of 2015. She and Rose attended a cross country jumping clinic in October 2015 with tremendous results. She also competed Rose in a 1st Level Musical Freestyle with a score of 9 for Artistic Impression! What the judge didn't know was that she choreographed it on the spot! We just told her what the required movements were and then the music started.
Meadowe spent time during the summers of 2012 and 2013 as a working student at Lisbeth Bengtsson's stable in Wisconsin before Lisbeth moved back to Sweden. She has a good grasp of theory and how the rider's body and use of weight and position affects the movement of the horse. She makes lessons fun for both children and adults and often gives homework, take home tests, or other challenges to her students.
