Mistress

Mistress was shown Third Level dressage and is a proven broodmare. She arrived in July 2015 to be part of the lesson and breeding programs but quickly became Margot Brady's personal riding mare. Mistress is forward and high energy like her half-sister, Mia, but sane and willingly to please and develops a good connection with her rider. Meadowe rode her in a Training Level Musical Freestyle at a schooling show in August where the judge's and spectator's jaws nearly dropped at the fluid and elegant movement choreographed to the music. Of course they took home the blue ribbon!

Her canter is like floating on a cloud (no exaggeration)! And what is super fun is that she prefers canter to trot. And just like Mia, she could canter all day and be happy with life.

Mistress' dam is by Grundstien I who has been referred to in Hanoverian circles as a "household name in dressage." Dr. Sarah Edwards, our German instructor, explained that the "G" line is highly sought after in dressage. We decided not to breed her in 2015 since we were enjoying riding her so much and all of our other mares were bred! We will be breeding her to Figaro in 2016 for a 2017 foal.
